I have not seen the last three episodes of Penny Dreadful yet. Was waiting to watch last few episodes back to back. And then I heard it's been cancelled and the last three are it...forever!! Why? You can read more here. But I won't...yet.

The last three episodes are now something I want to dole out carefully rather than binge on...(*sniff)

Winter is Coming

Detail from La Neige, Charles-Francois Daubigny - 1873  (Source)
That last episode of GOT had me screaming at the tv and literally, literally, jumping up and down! Can't wait to see this season's conclusion...

Brain Dead

Ok, I admit it. I've been watching a lot of tv. It's very hot here now so spending much time outdoors during the day isn't an option. And tv does help pass the time. Or am I slowly working my way towards being...brain dead?

Which is the catchy title of this new effort brought to us by husband and wife writing team, Robert and Michelle King. A cross between West Wing and Mars Attacks the premise is intriguing and Tony Shalhoub and Mary Elizabeth Winstead are great to watch.

But I have to admit the first episode has left me...unclear on what the point is of this particular narrative.

Other than to explain why Washington politics seems to have taken a bizarre turn.

Space Music?

So, I've caught a few episodes of Nasa's Unexplained Files. It's a fun watch. Not only do you get caught up in the mysteries but most of the time they have a satisfying explanation.

This one tho, the 'space music' heard by Apollo 10 astronauts on the dark side of the moon, well, there was something about it. Although it's been explained away as VHF or radio interference I was intrigued. This does not sound like radio interference to me...

Something did not add up. I went online, as you do, and discovered the original audio. What you hear in the clip above is not what you hear in the audio released by NASA. In fact, the noise heard in the NASA audio is so clearly interference that, well, it's hard to understand why the astronauts would have thought otherwise.

Unless, of course, this audio is not what they heard.

And what exactly was in those brownies?
