It's not Christmas without a good ghost story. And increasingly that means, at least in the UK, a story by MR James. This year BBC2 brings us Mark Gatiss's adaptation of James's spine-tingling tale, The Tractate Middoth. Immediately following this broadcast is a documentary, Ghost Writer, about MR James by, you guessed it, Mark Gatiss.
